The Latchkey Ice Race
             The Latchkey Ice Cup is called the "Daytona of the North." It features about 60 home-modified
             cars racing around a frozen pond.

Yoga Day USA
              January 24th was "Yoga Day USA" - studios across the country hosted free classes to spread the
              word about Yoga.  Aired on Word of Mouth on January 27th, 2009.

Walking Across America
              On March 1, 2008, BJ Hill set out on a walk across America.  But he wasn't just walking.
              He was collecting messages in a notebook from the people he met along the way for the next

            During the winter of 2007, I visited with Harry Pettit and learned about his annual holiday
             tradition of giving away Christmas Trees.  I checked in with him to see how Christmas 2008 went.

              The Town of Francestown, NH went without power for 5 days after the Ice Storm of 2008.  But
              the community still banded together daily in the local church to share breakfast and dinner.

The Road
              The Town of Lemon recently met together to talk about damage to their Main Road.  The Town
              Hall had no power, but the citizens had their meeting.

Running Across New Hampshire
              For two days in October, John Lacroix ran from one side of New Hampshire to the other.  124
              miles.  It took him 31 hours and 50 minutes - and he's the first one to do it.
